01 — New Client Consultation

New client consultation is designed to provide details about each of the services offered to determine what will work best for both the parent and scholar. During the new client consultation, clients and The Savvy Counselor will discuss the needs of the scholar, goals and expectations from the parent, and customization of any package (if necessary). The new client consultation is a 30-minute, virtual meeting.

02 — Social-Emotional Services

Program is designed to provide strategies and interventions individually to scholars that need assistance with social-emotional and/or behavioral skills. Our goal is to provide intervention plans to assist scholars in grades K-5 to fulfill their academic potential when there is a lack of specific behavioral and/or social skills, such as managing feelings, organization, implementing effective study skills, and more! Sessions are offered virtually and include access to student and parent resources for a collaborative effort. During the new client consultation, we can create a schedule of sessions that fits the need of the scholar.

*We recommend at least two sessions per quarter.

03 — Academic Planning Support

Program is designed to provide scholars in grades 6-12 with support in planning for academic success. Gearing up for middle school, high school, or post-secondary options will be the focus of the sessions.

• College applications, recommendation letters, interviewing skills, & assistance with choosing courses (AP, IB, dual-enrollment, etc.)

• Monitoring of progress reports, implementation of effective study skills, review of ongoing goals, etc.

• Parent University: parent/teacher conference guidance, navigating the virtual learning platform, creating a routine for your child, etc.

During the new client consultation, we will discuss the services that are necessary for the scholar. We welcome and assist all students with IEPs and ELL students for proper planning.

*Two-session minimum for post-secondary planning services

04 — “Savvy” Success Coaching

Our Savvy Success Coaching program is designed to assist students in grades 6-12 to develop goals for academic and social-emotional success. We will collaborate to craft two goals: one (1) academic and one (1) social-emotional. We will also implement learning targets to focus on during the sessions in order to accomplish the goals set. Goals and learning target skills will enhance the student academic experience as we will monitor their progress and ensure social-emotional success has improved. Goals and learning targets will also be sent for approval to the parent/guardian for a collaborative effort.

*Success Coaching is a minimum 5 session package.
