Jessica Cooper has been an educator in the state of Georgia for over seven years. After years in the classroom, Jessica realized she had a passion to reach students on a more global scale which is what led her to school counseling. She is a certified K-12 professional school counselor in the metro Atlanta area, serving a diverse community with various academic, and social emotional needs. Jessica also loves educating parents/guardians on how they can play a more active role in their scholars education. As a professional school counselor, Jessica aims to identify the social emotional needs of students through the use of data and a person-centered approach. She strives to advocate for children while providing them with the tools to advocate for themselves to promote academic success and social emotional well-being.

Jessica Cooper facilitates professional development for counselors and educators to assist them in growing their educational toolbox. She has presented at Georgia Association for Career and Technical Education (GACTE) virtual conference on how to incorporate technology into your virtual counseling program through the use of “Bitmoji Virtual Classrooms”. She has also served in leadership for the Georgia School Counselor Association (GSCA) for the conference in 2021.
