Jessica Cooper, M.S.

Jessica Cooper has been an educator in the state of Georgia for over a decade with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Georgia State University and Master’s degree in School Counseling from Mercer University. With a background in educational leadership, student support services, and family engagement, I help students thrive academically and emotionally—while equipping parents with tools to support their children’s success.

As a student success and parent coach, I bring years of experience in public education, where I’ve led initiatives that promote equity, resilience, and confidence in learners of all ages. I’ve coached educators, chaired Section 504/Hospital Homebound teams, and trained school leaders in creating student-centered plans that remove barriers and celebrate strengths. Now, I extend that same support directly to families.

My coaching approach is collaborative, practical, and rooted in a deep belief: when students and parents feel supported and empowered, long-lasting growth follows. Whether I’m guiding a student through academic challenges or helping a parent navigate school systems and advocacy, my goal is to create clear, compassionate paths forward.

From building effective study habits to managing accommodations and behavior plans, I offer coaching that is personalized, proactive, and focused on real results. Together, we’ll bridge school and home to unlock your child’s full potential.

Jessica Cooper facilitates professional development for counselors and educators to assist them in growing their educational toolbox. She has presented at Georgia Association for Career and Technical Education (GACTE) virtual conference on how to incorporate technology into your virtual counseling program through the use of “Bitmoji Virtual Classrooms”. She has also served in leadership for the Georgia School Counselor Association (GSCA) for the conference in 2021.

Jessica has trained hundreds of educators on how to create and implement their virtual classroom into their daily curriculums and counseling programs. Book Jessica Cooper, The Savvy Counselor to present at your next professional development seminar for your school/district.
